Demonte Alexander provides leadership for internal/external communication for Bexar Facts Public Opinion Research. This encompasses public relations, marketing, events, digital/social media, and collateral development. He joined Bexar Facts in November 2019 as its first director of communication.
Demonte has over 15 years of experience in communication and community outreach, with expertise in strategically positioning public outreach campaigns and initiatives for businesses of all sizes. Demonte has honorably served ten years in the U.S. Army and received awards for his valor and efforts in combat in Baghdad, Iraq, during Operation Iraqi Freedom II.
Before joining the Bexar Facts team, Demonte served as Communications Director and Deputy Chief of Staff at San Antonio City Hall, and Campaign Manager for County Judge and Texas State House races.
His most notable professional accomplishment was through the successful passage of the $850 million city bond referendums in 2017, which was the most significant bond in recorded history. Demonte led a prestigious and highly effective speaker bureau and attended over 300 events and neighborhoods citywide, advocating for the bond referendum.
He believes that Bexar Facts gives him an incredible opportunity and responsibility to continue connecting with people through outreach and promoting civic engagement on a larger scale.
